Julie has been a community organiser, campaigner and mentor for 25 years. With a love of listening to podcasts and hearing peoples' stories, starting a podcast seemed like an obvious next step. As a committed Muslim she is passionate about working with people from all backgrounds and is recognised widely for her bridge-building interfaith work and community work, together.  Julie is not afraid to speak up about difficult issues that are often seen as taboo in faith communities. She is also aware of how misunderstood Muslim women are. This podcast is part of redressing that balance and smashing stereotypes. Julie is happily married with four young adult children, enjoys walking and being in nature and is a rare breed of person who does not like the taste of a cup of tea!  The podcast is a coming together of Julie's passions alongside a range of friends, guests who will motivate and inspire you.
